At one side of the <a href="villa.htm">rental Villa</a> is a large pergola, close
to the kitchen and a large stone built BBQ. This is the ideal place for breakfast,
lunch and/or dinner. On the other side of the house is the swimming pool 25’ x
50’ with a
bar, fridge and a large pergola.
Around the pool of the rental villa with self contained apartment are sun lounges
and parasols. The garden of the rental villa is automatically irrigated at night.
The cars cannot be seen as the car park is on a lower level. Obviously there
are many garden lights that together with the pool lights give the <a href="villa.htm">rental
Villa</a> a very nice and special atmosphere in the evenings. From a security point of
view there is an internal alarm system as well as an infra red external system.
Both systems are telephone connected. The water is from <a href="villa.htm">the
Villas</a> own
well so there is no problem in terms of water usage. It has been tested and found
to be extremely pure. Only the water inside the Villa comes from the local Water
Board.
<a href="villa.htm">The luxury Villa to let</a> has marble floors throughout
as well as on the balconies, upstairs and downstairs, marble fireplace, marble
staircase and marble bathroom.
ALL windows have shutters, double-glazing and mosquito screen doors. The living
area has a large air-conditioning unit.
Downstairs is the open plan sitting and dining room. The large fully equipped
modern kitchen has granite work surfaces. The kitchen equipment is state of the
art. Built in microwave, fan-oven, dishwasher, and hob unit with extractor, fridge/
freezer, etc.
In the lounge area is a satellite TV and disc/tape player, etc.
Upstairs are two large bedrooms, both air conditioned, and both rooms sleep 6
in total. Both rooms have T.V. In the mornings one wakes up with the view over
the sea and the fantastic sunrise. Off the two bedrooms is the large bathroom
with shower, bath, double basins, bidet, etc. Upstairs on the landing are also
the computer facilities for email.
All bed linen, towels, etc. are in situ.
The utility room has two washing machines and a dryer, an extra upright 5’ fridge
and 5’ upright freezer. Bed linen and towels, etc. are provided. All you need
to bring are your personal things and rubber slippers for inside the house.

The village of Epidavros is a beautiful farming and fishing village on the <a href="location.htm">Saronic
Gulf</a>. It is surrounded by majestic mountains full of pine trees on the one
side and the sea on the other. The views are spectacular!
The village of Epidavros on the <a href="location.htm">Peloponnese in Greece</a> lies
in orange and olive groves and when the blossom of the oranges is out, the scent
is fantastic.
<a href="location.htm">Epidavros</a> sank in the sea but the remains can still
be seen when snorkelling.<a href="location.htm"> Epidavros</a> has a beautiful
natural harbour and a small ancient theatre where in the summer many cultural
events take place. In particular the Music Festival in July. This archaeological
site seats approx. 6000 people. The large and very famous theatre lies approx.
5 miles away; seats about 18000 and many plays are performed by the best Greek
and foreign theatre groups in the summer months. Epidavros, with its natural
beauty, mild climate, beaches, sea sports, walking and hiking facilities forms
a perfect holiday resort. It has not yet been discovered by the tourists at large.
Ancient Epidavros is accessible by sea from Piraeus and train from Athens to
Argos or Naphlio.
<a href="villa.htm">This Villa is a luxury villa</a> and is located in the more
sought after area of Ancient Epidavros called “GIALASSI”. Gialassi is situated
amidst olive and orange groves and is 2 km from the village centre. The village
itself is not far from the islands of Aegina, Poros, Spetses, etc. and is approx.
120 km from Athens. The Villa was built in 2001. The land on which Villa Aura
stands was cut out from the mountain to create a flat site for the large infinity
swimming pool. The garden is mainly laid to lawn.
The views over the Saronic gulf are spectacular and the islands of Agistri and
Aegina as well as Methina can clearly be seen. On a good day it is possible to
see Piraeus and Athens. The Villa stands in approx 4000 square meters of land,
has many trees and other plants, olive groves and an uninterrupted view over
the sea.
I offer for those that like sailing in these blue and clean waters an extra option.
After or while you are enjoying villa ‘Aura’ you can go sailing for a week or
longer on my sailing yacht and see some of the islands, anchor in beautiful bays,
swim, etc. Another choice is to go on day trips while you are enjoying the Villa.
This totally self contained large <a href="studio.htm">rental apartment</a> is
located below the upstairs balcony and is of course totally sound proof. It has
a large tiled roof over the terrace to give it privacy from upstairs and obviously
shade from the sun as well.
Its own road entrance through the olive groves and parking gives the studio easy
access.
The inside of the <a href="studio.htm">rental studio</a> is spacious with air
conditioning and marble floors, cupboards, TV, large bathroom, four single beds
(two can be put together to make a double) and all linens.
The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, cooker, etc.
I have available my <a href="sailing.htm">sailing yacht</a> which is a 41’ Contest,
British registered. I <a href="sailing.htm">skipper the boat</a> myself and am
happy to teach in the process. Perfect for your

She is fully equipped, has a comfortable, with standing height, forward cabin
with en-suite and shower facilities and a large aft cabin, also with en suite
facilities and shower. She has Radar, GPS, Weatherfax, Radio, etc. and sleeps
6 in comfort. She has a large dinghy and an outboard for going ashore.
You can also enjoy fishing, diving and snorkelling. I have diving equipment on
the boat for those that can dive.
I skipper the boat myself and am happy to teach in the process. From the photograph
you can see what type of yacht this is. I am a fully qualified Royal Yachting
Association ‘Yacht Master’ with many years experience.
SHOPPING, ETC.
The best local shopping facilities are in the village or in Naphlio. Also Argos
is interesting as is Corinth. From Argos or Corinth there are trains to Athens
where it is very easy to pick up the “tube” into the City centre. Plakka shopping
area is a must to visit. The area is very safe for children.
The sea is approx 200 m. from the villa and in the sea you will find, 100m from
the coast, a barrier net to keep unwanted jelly fish out. There are water ski
and para facilities, (in the winter snow skiing is very good) plenty of tavernas/restaurants,
one disco in the summer months and plenty of old sites to be seen in the area.
Delphi, Marathon, Olympia and other sites are easily accessible.
